RPT Tampa, FL, US 4 days ago Requisition ID: 1044 Housekeeper Job Description Position Summary We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and overall guest experience of our restaurant and brewery-inspired venue. The Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring all public areas, restrooms, dining spaces, and back-of-house areas are kept clean, sanitized, and presentable at all times. This role plays a critical part in creating a welcoming environment for guests and supporting a safe workplace for team members. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Clean and sanitize dining rooms, host stands, waiting areas, bars, patios, and common areas. Maintain cleanliness and organization of all public and employee restrooms. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors throughout the facility. Empty trash and recycling receptacles and replace liners as needed. Clean windows, doors, walls, light fixtures, and other surfaces. Sanitize high-touch areas regularly in accordance with company and health department standards. Maintain employee break rooms, offices, and back-of-house areas. Assist with setup and breakdown of special events and private functions as needed. Monitor cleaning supply inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishment. Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or equipment issues promptly. Follow all company safety procedures and sanitation guidelines. Support restaurant operations by maintaining a clean and organized environment during and after business hours. Qualifications Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred but not required. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to follow instructions and maintain high standards. Positive attitude and teamwork mentality. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift. Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments, including varying temperatures. Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment.
