Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists with initial patient evaluations, assessments, and ongoing treatment plans, ensuring a thorough and caring approach to each session.
• Implement modifications to exercise programs under the guidance of the Physical Therapist, modifying techniques based on patient progress.
• Provide instruction to patients on therapeutic exercises, always striving to educate with patience and compassion.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities, such as heat, cold, and electrical stimulation, to help alleviate pain and enhance functional ability while prioritizing patient comfort and safety.
• Track and document patient progress accurately using our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring clear communication regarding treatment outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment in the therapy area to facilitate effective patient treatment.
• Engage in continuous learning, participating in training and workshops to enhance clinical skills and stay current with emerging practices in physical therapy.

Qualifications

• An Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in California.
• At least 1 year of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, showcasing your expertise in patient interaction and rehabilitation techniques.
• Comprehensive knowledge of physical therapy principles and a strong commitment to providing compassionate care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $50,000 to $70,000 annually , based on clinical experience and qualifications.
