Job Responsibilities

• Perform extensive patient evaluations that encompass physical examinations and thorough medical history assessments
• Assist in the diagnosis and evaluation of surgical conditions through the interpretation of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to devise and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide support during surgeries, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and efficiently passing surgical instruments
• Offer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferably completed clinical rotations emphasizing surgical practice

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
