Overview Job Description - Physical Therapist - Full Time (2504156) Physical Therapist - Full Time POSITION SUMMARY Plans and implements specific treatment programs for individual and grouped patients according to the principles of the American Physical Therapy Association. Responsibilities Collaborates with interdisciplinary healthcare treatment team. Supervises physical therapy assistants, rehabilitation aides, and volunteers. Provides an educational in-service to the staff annually as assigned by the Supervisor. Assume the role of clinical instructor to physical therapy students as assigned by the Rehab Director or CCCE. Required Experience and Qualifications NYS Physical Therapy License and current registration, or eligible. Current CPR/BLS certification through the American Heart Association. Physical Demands Occasional heavy lifting when providing patient care. As part of employment at Southampton Hospital, there may be occasions when travel to other locations is needed to support operational needs. Anticipated Pay Range The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established based on relevant experience. The above salary range (or hiring range) represents SBSH’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
