The facility features a 15-bed psychiatric department providing dedicated mental health services to patients in the region, ensuring quality care in a supportive environment.

Opportunity:
Physician - Psychiatry

Job Details:
• Provide psychiatric services in an acute psychiatric unit/institute setting
• Manage 12 patient encounters per shift in a 15-bed department
• Board certification required (minimum board certification eligible accepted)
• Must hold active Alabama medical license or IMLC eligibility
• Experience with involuntary commitments preferred
• Experience with restraint application preferred
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 15 days
• No additional certifications required (ACLS, BLS, PALS, etc.)
• Start date: June 29, 2026 - Ongoing assignment
• Locum tenens position providing flexibility and professional growth opportunities

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
