Base pay range $31.00/hr – $31.00/hr Must have Active PTIN Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. The salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position: $30/hr – $31/hr. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses. Responsibilities Maintain sensitive customer, confidential and/or proprietary business information in a responsible, reliable, and safe manner. Utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to seek out and deliver the right answer to the customer using everyday language. Serve in a virtual, customer‑facing role, interacting with customers over state‑of‑the‑art video communication software, documenting interactions to maintain accurate records. Interact with customers and team members in a professional manner. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns, using commercial tax preparation software. Passionate about helping clients navigate taxation complexities and committed to enhancing our brand by delighting customers. Excellent customer service skills; excited to interact with customers via video and audio tools in a professional, friendly, and confident manner. Must possess or be able to obtain any related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds and an active PTIN. Willing to obtain a secure internet connection that meets security criteria. Available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, spread across three or more days.
