Public Partnerships LLC supports individuals with disabilities or chronic illnesses and aging adults, to remain in their homes and communities and “self” direct their own long-term home care. Job Summary
The Compliance Program Lead is responsible for leading and managing key components of the Corporate Compliance and Privacy Program, ensuring the organization maintains an effective, proactive, and scalable compliance infrastructure. This role develops, implements, and continuously improves compliance processes, standards, controls, and monitoring activities that support governance, investigations, education, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance.
The Compliance Program Lead serves as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to business leaders, partnering closely with the Director, Corporate Compliance and Privacy to strengthen organizational accountability, drive program effectiveness, and foster a culture of ethics and compliance. The role exercises significant independent judgment in evaluating compliance concerns, leading cross-functional initiatives, managing investigations, and providing compliance guidance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance Program Leadership & Operations
- Own and manage major components of the Corporate Compliance and Privacy Program.
- Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of compliance program infrastructure, policies, procedures, standards, and controls.
- Design, implement, and maintain compliance workflows, monitoring activities, and operational processes that promote program effectiveness.
- Coordinate and manage Compliance Committee governance, including agendas, materials, minutes, presentations, action-item tracking, follow-up activities, and governance documentation.
- Own and support execution of annual compliance work plans and strategic compliance initiatives.
- Lead cross-functional compliance projects and initiatives without direct authority, driving collaboration and accountability across multiple business functions.
- Interpret regulatory and compliance requirements and provide guidance to business leaders regarding compliance obligations, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and compliance program effectiveness measures.
- Maintain compliance policies, procedures, templates, and other program documentation.
Hotline and Incident Management
- Administer and maintain compliance hotline and incident management systems.
- Coordinate intake, assessment, tracking, routing, documentation, and resolution of compliance, ethics, and privacy concerns.
- Independently evaluate, triage, and prioritize significant compliance and privacy incidents.
- Lead or serve as the primary coordinator for complex compliance investigations, including documentation, stakeholder engagement, and corrective action planning.
- Support investigation activities and ensure timely follow-up and closure of identified issues.
- Monitor incident trends and emerging risk areas through data analysis and reporting.
- Identify root causes and recommend corrective and preventive actions to mitigate organizational risk.
- Develop and enhance incident management workflows, reporting tools, and process improvements.
Compliance Education
- Develop and maintain compliance training materials, educational resources, newsletters, communications, and awareness campaigns.
- Coordinate annual compliance training assignments, completion monitoring, and reporting.
- Support the development of targeted education and awareness initiatives in response to emerging risks, investigation findings, audit results, and regulatory changes.
- Track compliance education metrics and identify opportunities to improve engagement and effectiveness.
- Promote a culture of ethics, integrity, accountability, and regulatory compliance throughout the organization.
Program Administration
- Coordinate sanctions screening activities, monitoring processes, and documentation.
- Support compliance attestations, conflict-of-interest disclosures, certifications, and annual compliance requirements.
- Develop executive-level reports, dashboards, scorecards, and metrics supporting governance and compliance oversight activities.
- Analyze compliance data to identify enterprise-wide trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Present compliance findings, program performance, trends, and recommendations to leadership, committees, and governance bodies.
- Evaluate compliance program effectiveness and recommend enhancements aligned with organizational goals and regulatory expectations.
- Serve as the functional subject matter expert for hotline management, sanctions screening, compliance training, governance, investigations, or other designated compliance program functions.
- Provide functional guidance, coaching, and mentoring compliance analysts, coordinators, and business partners as appropriate.
- Continuously evaluate compliance operations and implement workflow improvements that increase efficiency, effectiveness, and accountability.
Requirements:

- Ability to independently assess compliance risks, exercise sound judgment, and make appropriate recommendations.
- Experience supporting governance committees, leadership reporting, and compliance oversight activities.
- Strong understanding of compliance investigations, incident management, corrective action processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience developing KPIs, dashboards, metrics, and compliance program effectiveness measures.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Proven ability to interpret compliance requirements and communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Ability to improve, standardize, and scale operational processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational discipline.
- Familiarity with healthcare privacy incidents, compliance investigations, and regulatory environments preferred.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Legal Studies, Compliance, or a related field preferred. Substantial relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
Experience:
- Five (5) or more years of experience in healthcare compliance, privacy, ethics, audit, quality, risk management, healthcare operations, or a related field.
- Experience supporting and/or leading compliance programs, investigations, governance activities, risk management initiatives, or compliance education programs.
- Experience independently managing compliance processes and serving as a subject matter expert in one or more compliance functional areas.
- Experience developing compliance metrics, dashboards, leadership reporting, and program effectiveness assessments.
- Experience coordinating and supporting compliance committees, governance functions, and executive reporting.
- Experience with incident management systems, sanctions screening, compliance education, case management platforms, or compliance monitoring activities preferred.
- Experience presenting recommendations, findings, and compliance trends to leadership and governance committees preferred.
- Experience providing functional guidance, mentoring, or leadership to analysts, coordinators, or business partners preferred.
Certifications: Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP), Certified Healthcare Compliance Manager (CHCM), Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC), or other relevant compliance certifications preferred.

Compensation Range: $96,000 - $126,000
This role is eligible for a base salary within the posted range. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including skills, experience, and geographic location. Compensation may vary for positions based in high cost-of-labor markets.
