1st Assistant ManagersA 1st Assistant Managers helps oversee in-store operations alongside the General Manager. The 1st Assistant Manager plays a major role in ensuring the store is in exceptional order and that all employees are performing duties properly and efficiently. 1st Assistant Managers must lead by example and execute systems and procedures with 100% integrity. As an 1st Assistant Manager, your attitude needs to be enthusiastic, friendly, and positive.Essential Functions include:Responsible for customer product and service standardsFoster an environment of team workResponsible for delivering an exceptional customer and store experienceGreet and thank every customer with a smile and eye contactExecute quality store operationsClean store, small wares, merchandise and physical plant as necessaryMust be able to operate food preparation machineryAdhere to all food, safety and security guidelinesMust be able to operate cash register and handle cash transactions while adhering to all cash handling policiesRequirements:Ability to work a 40+ hour weekAt least 18 years of age, with valid driver license and clean driving recordBasic understanding of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Adobe AcrobatMust be able to perform, teach and train all aspects of Assistant Manager, PIC, InShopper and Delivery Driver positions, as neededAbility to handle fast-paced and high stress situations in the storeOrganize and establish priorities in the store with minimal supervisionWilling to coach and task-manage employees on store operationsAdditional Requirements:• Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver license, car and clean driving record• Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs regularly throughout shifts• Ability to stand, bend, reach and scoop through-out assigned shift• Ability to be mobile in walk-in refrigerator and freezer with temperatures ranging from 40° F to -10° FCompany IntroductionWe slice our all-natural* meats and fresh veggies in-house every day.
