Registered Nurse (RN) - Infusion

Registered Nurse – Oncology

Schedule: Days; 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Assignment Details:

• Guaranteed Hours: 30
• Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements:

• Associate's Degree in nursing (Bachelor's Degree preferred)
• At least one (1) year of oncology experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Current BLS certification
• Must obtain OCN certification within one year of hire

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy IV fluids via peripherally inserted central catheters.
• Identify, assess, and diagnose patient problems through assessment and interactions.
• Develop and participate in patient education regarding post-discharge care.
• Initiate patient care meetings to revise care plans as necessary.
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patient care.
• Document patient care in the health care record according to standards.
