Provide chair‑side assistance during dental procedures, sterilize instruments, and mix restorative materials as needed. Perform intra‑oral and extra‑oral X‑rays, develop and mount X‑ray films. Maintain X‑ray, processor, autoclave, and dental unit(s) according to specifications. Manage inventory of supplies and equipment, order supplies, and set up trays for patients. Complete daily instrument count sheet, perform dental screenings, and maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dental clinic through careful practices. Qualifications and Requirements Education: Associate’s degree or certification in Dental Technology from an accredited school. Experience: Must have experience working as a Dental Technician or Registered Dental Assistant in a private or public dental practice. Must demonstrate consistent sound judgment with dental decisions within a correctional healthcare environment. Licensing: Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.
