We’re looking for a Head of Brand Marketing to shape the next chapter of ZIWI Peak — owning our global brand strategy, elevating our creative identity and building a brand that stands apart in a rapidly evolving category.

This is an opportunity to think globally, challenge convention and shape how an ultra-premium brand shows up everywhere, from the retail shelf to the digital world and the emerging landscape of AI-powered discovery.

What you’ll lead

• Global brand strategy: Own our brand promise, positioning and architecture, setting the long-term vision and roadmap for ZIWI Peak.

• Creative excellence: Shape best-in-class creative, packaging and brand experiences across every physical and digital touchpoint.

• Digital and AI discovery: Help define how consumers find, discover and choose ZIWI Peak as search and online discovery evolve.

• Consumer-led growth: Turn consumer insights and emerging trends into opportunities for brand differentiation, innovation and commercial growth.

• Global collaboration: Partner with regional marketing leaders to bring a consistent global brand strategy to life while enabling locally relevant execution.

• Investment and leadership: Lead our global brand marketing investment, agency partnerships and brand marketing team to deliver measurable impact.

What you’ll bring

You’re an experienced brand leader who knows how to build, evolve and scale premium or challenger brands. You combine strategic vision with creative judgement and commercial acumen, and you know how to turn a compelling brand strategy into exceptional execution across markets and channels.

• 10+ years of experience building and stewarding premium or challenger brands, including brand architecture or brand refresh initiatives.

• Experience scaling brand systems, creative assets and toolkits across multiple markets.

• A strong instinct for premium brand positioning and best-in-class execution.

• A digital-first mindset, curiosity about emerging technologies and a willingness to challenge conventional thinking.

• The ability to influence senior stakeholders, collaborate across regions and lead high-performing teams.

• A genuine passion for building brands that make a difference — ideally with a love for pets and their wellbeing.

Location: While this role could be located in our offices in Auckland, New Zealand, or Kansas, USA, strong applications located in other US locations may also be considered. Ability to travel internationally as required to connect with our global teams and markets is essential.
