Senior Preconstruction Manager

Senior Preconstruction Manager - Commercial Construction (Healthcare, Hospitality & Advanced Manufacturing) Location: Austin, TX Scott Humphrey has partnered with a large and highly respected general contractor to identify a Senior Preconstruction Manage r to play a key leadership role within their preconstruction team. This individual will be responsible for leading estimating efforts, mentoring team members, and serving as a primary point of contact throughout the preconstruction and bidding process for Healthcare, Hospitality, and Advanced Manufacturin g projects. Responsibilities Lead and manage the estimating process for multiple projects simultaneously. Serve as the primary point of contact and provide leadership to the preconstruction team. Prepare detailed conceptual, schematic, budgetary, and hard-bid estimates. Analyze drawings, specifications, and other project documentation to develop accurate cost, labor, and schedule projections. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, design teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure comprehensive and competitive pricing. Conduct bid reviews, scope analysis, constructability reviews, and value engineering initiatives Collaborate with operations teams to ensure a seamless project handoff upon award. Support business development efforts by participating in client presentations and preconstruction meetings. Requirements 5-10+ years of estimating and preconstruction experience with a general contractor Proven leadership experience managing or mentoring estimating and preconstruction teams Strong experience in Healthcare, Hospitality, and/or Advanced Manufacturin g construction projects Ability to manage multiple pursuits and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Comprehensive understanding of construction means and methods, cost drivers, procurement strategies, and market conditions Proficiency with estimating software, takeoff tools, and preconstruction technology platforms Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Scott Humphrey Corporation
