Caregiver Specialist

Want to make a difference in someone's life? We are looking for a qualified caregiver specialist to assist ourclients and caregivers in a professional and compassionate manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with ambulation and mobility around the house
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Plan and prepare meals
• Assist the client with shopping
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Willing to travel within 30 miles in any direction
• Ability to train new caregivers adequately
• Must be available Mon.-Fri. between 8am-5pm
• After hours on-call rotation required (one weekday, and one weekend per month)

Skills

• Knowledge of housekeeping and personal care activities
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Respectful and compassionate to others with a strong sense of ethics
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

Requirements

• Experience as a caregiver is preferred but not required
• Able to pass a drug screen
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Have a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a driving record with little/no moving violations
