Physical Therapist (Sports/Ortho)
Location: Tacoma, WA Shift: Mon-Fri Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sports / Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our growing team. In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with musculoskeletal injuries, post-surgical conditions, and sports-related injuries. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and return to peak physical performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Assess and diagnose movement dysfunctions using evidence-based practices
- Treat a variety of orthopedic and sports-related conditions, including sprains, strains, and post-operative rehabilitation
- Apply manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and appropriate modalities
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in EMR systems
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Active and unrestricted state licensure
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of orthopedic and sports rehabilitation techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in an outpatient orthopedic or sports rehabilitation setting
- Certification such as Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) or Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS)
