Sales Support Specialist (Commercial Lending Assistant)

Overview This position supports Bank products and services in the execution of daily sales activities at an advanced level of service ability. Reviews financial information or participates in client support activities in order to identify sales opportunities for the wider business unit. Facilitates the sales process by preparing necessary documentation. Ensures client satisfaction by answering inquiries, addressing account or product discrepancies, and handling support issues. Supports account servicing issues that require further resolution or investigation. May provide guidance to less experienced specialists in the work group. Responsibilities & Qualifications Duties & Responsibilities: Service & Support - Uncovers sales opportunities through analysis, reporting, and daily support operations. Works directly with individuals to address issues and respond to inquiries. Determines target needs and provides resolution. May serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout sales process, and assists in calls or presentations intended to solicit business. Documentation - Prepares documentation presented to clients. This may include proposals, service agreements, and implementation forms. Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets financial data. Performs analysis to determine trends in market, product, or client information. Product Specialist - Provides knowledge in area of work. Assists in process troubleshooting for both internal and external parties. May assist in creating and monitoring pricing of Bank products or services, including evaluating competitor products and making suggestions to enhance the attractiveness of Bank offerings. Qualifications: Minimum Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree OR High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 4 years' experience in Sales, or Customer Service, or Operations Preferred Education: Preferred Area of Study: Preferred Area of Experience: Required Licenses or Certifications: Preferred Licenses or Certifications: Additional Information Basic Qualifications : High School Diploma or GED with 4+ years of experience in sales or lending support OR Bachelor's Degree with experience in sales or lending support Additional Requirements: Must have 1+ years of experience in banking , ideally in a lending-specific role Experience with: Real Estate and UCC lending requirements Assisting multiple bankers throughout the process Working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Preferred Skills : Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Detail-oriented with a strong focus on compliance and risk awareness in a banking environment Strong ability to multitask Professional written and verbal communication skills PLEASE NOTE: There are no remote capabilities for this position at this time. Ideal candidate will work full-time from one of the following locations: 336 Washington Street in Wellesley, MA 53 State Streen in Boston, MA If hired in Massachusetts, the base pay for this position is generally between $30.94 and $41.85. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.
