Overview What We Offer Schedule: Ideal schedule would be 3 10’s with no weekends or call; part-time with full-time benefits. Sign on bonus up to $33,750. Relocation bonus available. This position will primarily support inpatient endoscopy in 4 endoscopy suites at Presbyterian Medical Center. Location: Presbyterian Medical Center - Charlotte, NC. Presbyterian is a 661-bed level 2 trauma center located just outside of uptown Charlotte. What We Offer Details A dynamic part-time opportunity working within a specialized skill set Work/life balance with no weekends or call Access to continuing education and leadership support Inclusive culture grounded in teamwork, trust, and shared purpose Responsibilities Deliver safe and effective anesthesia care to endoscopy patient population Administer anesthetics for a wide variety of surgical and non-surgical procedures Monitor patients throughout anesthesia and recovery Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and surgical teams Adjust anesthetic plans as needed based on changing patient status Practice independently within full CRNA scope of privileges What We're Looking For Education : High School Diploma or GED is required. BSN, MSN, DNP, or graduate diploma level certification required. Graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing and School of Nurse Anesthesia. Certified by the NBCRNA as a CRNA and recognized by the state of practice as a CRNA. Must meet minimum continuing education requirements every four years of the NBCRNA. Experience : Previous experience is not required. Four to six week orientation period for new graduates (with a preceptor) is required. Orientation for experienced providers will depend on prior experience and clinical skills. Licensure/Certification/Registration : Current RN licensure in the appropriate state Current CRNA endorsement in the appropriate state NBCRNA certification ACLS certification (within NH policy) BLS certification (within NH policy) PALS certification (within NH policy) Additional skills : Extensive knowledge of current anesthetic agents, techniques, drugs, and equipment Ability to modify the anesthetic plan of care to accommodate patient age Strong independent decision-making skills and professional demeanor under potential stress Why Choose Novant Health At Novant Health, we believe remarkable care starts with compassion for our patients, communities, and each other.
