: Job Category: 20 Grade Structure Requisition Number: FINAN005202 Posting Details Posted: March 11, 2024 Full-Time Locations Dallas, TX 75202, USA Job Details Description Salary Range: $118,047 - $157,396 Close Date: 03/24/2024, 3pm CST Relocation: No Summary The Financial Consultant Lead reports to the Manager, Financial Planning and Management Reporting and has responsibility to lead and/or participate in the development and communications of financial plans and monthly analysis of financial results. Basic responsibilities include financial analysis, planning, forecasting, reporting, board presentations, and also to extend proactive financial analysis and financial consulting. The position involves the integration and compilation of core business, regulatory, accounting, and tax, to help in financial management reporting. In addition, is expected to recognize change in business operations and to anticipate the information and analysis needed to support change management. Other duties include working with project teams and other departments requiring financial analysis, or counseling and training of department employees, and the completion of special projects. Key Roles & Responsibilities Directly or through others, the incumbent: Prepare monthly financial reports for plan and prior year, including dashboard reports and presentations for Senior Level Management, Investors and Board. Prepare expense and cash flow of plan, projections and actuals for Admin departments, Local Gross Receipts Taxes, benefits, Network Transmission revenue and expense and other consolidated items. Coordinate, communicate and present to management monthly financial highlights with variance explanations. Develop Nvision reports Prepares ad hoc analysis, reports or any other special projects requested by the Manager Provide decision support and advice on strategic issues and special projects. Maintain working relationships with key stakeholders (accounting, corporate planning, tax, treasury, etc.) and assimilate all relevant data into Admin financial forecasts. Train all department employees and communicate work task recommendations for each employee to the Manager. Support other departments seeking quantitative solutions to business problems. Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of Oncor's financial reports and data. Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements Education Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or other appropriate discipline preferred; CPA or MBA preferred Experience Minimum of 7 years of related experience in accounting, financial planning, budgeting, forecasting Skills Excellent financial analysis skills, with emphasis placed on income statement, income taxes, pension & OPEBs, cash flow and balance sheet Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills Demonstrate a high level of business acumen with the ability to interact with senior management High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and Peoplesoft specially writing reports Ability to work well under pressure and with minimal supervision Measures of Success Development and communication of timely financial presentations and reports.
