Our client, a leading organization in the technology and software development sector, is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to join their team. As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will be part of the Software Engineering department supporting the infrastructure and deployment pipelines. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong collaboration skills, innovative thinking, and a passion for automation.

Location: Columbus, OH (Only local candidates)

Pay Range: Best in the Segment on W2

What's the Job?

• Design, build, and operate scalable, cloud-native platforms supporting secure application delivery.
• Implement and manage Kubernetes and OpenShift platforms, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Develop and automate CI/CD workflows using GitOps principles, GitHub Actions, and other automation tools.
• Automate microservices deployments across multiple cloud environments such as Azure and GCP, achieving full deployment automation.
• Embed security, observability, and pipeline instrumentation practices to enhance operational visibility and troubleshooting efficiency.

What's Needed?

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering or related fields, with proven expertise in DevOps and platform engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and cloud platforms like Azure and GCP.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), GitOps workflows, and automation scripting (Python preferred).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and implementing DevSecOps practices.
• Excellent collaboration skills and a focus on developer enablement and continuous delivery excellence.
