Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery
Schedule: Patient Ratios: Days 1:1; Nights 1:1. Weekend Coverage: Required
Assignment Details: Charting System: Epic (required). Orientation: 36 hours. Pre-approved Time Off: 2 (per contract)
Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience. Valid state RN license in hand at submission. Required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced or NCC C-EFM, BLS, NRP. Experience in labor and delivery care
Roles & Responsibilities: Provide care during labor and delivery, including vaginal and C-section procedures. Monitor fetal heart patterns and interpret electronic fetal monitoring data. Support high-risk obstetrical management, including care during magnesium sulfate therapy and management of postpartum hemorrhage. Perform peripartum procedures, including sterile vaginal exams and cervical cerclage. Administer IVs and manage blood products safely. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Compliance / Notes: Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only). Strict compliance deadline for credentialing items. Completion of Ohio fingerprinting process required immediately after signing contract
