AVSG/VSSOC is growing, and we are excited to welcome experienced Registered Veterinary Technicians to our team. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside Board‑Certified Criticalists, Surgeons, Internists, and Emergency Clinicians , supported by a highly skilled, collaborative team of RVTs and veterinary assistants dedicated to outstanding patient care.

You will practice the full scope of your RVT, LVT or CVT credential every single day in a 24-hour specialty and emergency environment that is equal parts science, skill and the occasional cat with very strong opinions about everything. You bring your credential, your clinical instincts and your ability to read a room full of nervous humans and anxious animals without missing a beat. • Internal Medicine
• Surgery & Anesthesia
• Emergency/ICU (multiple shifts available)
  • Hiring for mid-level and senior-level

• Venipuncture, catheter placement, and sample collection
• Diagnostic imaging assistance and basic interpretation (radiographs, ultrasound support)
• Anesthesia monitoring (vitals, depth assessment, adjustments)
• Medication calculation and administration (IV, IM, SQ, CRIs)
• Fluid therapy setup and maintenance
• Surgical prep, sterile technique, and instrument handling
• Patient monitoring (vitals, pain scoring, trend recognition)
• Nursing care for hospitalized patients (nutrition, wound care, hygiene)

• Registered Veterinary Technician required
• 2+ years working in a veterinary clinic
• Emergency or Specialty experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and commitment to develop long term relationships with colleagues, clients, and the community we serve
• Reliable, organized, and committed to provide high level care to our patients and clients

• Excellent communication and organizational skills are required, and the ability to deliver exceptional client service is expected

• Surgery
  • Wednesday through Saturday 9:00am - 7:00pm
• Internal Medicine
  • four 10-hour shifts, specific days and times TBD
• Emergency & ICU
  • Day and overnight shifts available
  • Scheduling options include:
    • Three 12‑hour shifts
    • Four 10‑hour shifts
  • Rotating weekdays and weekends available

• Mid-Level ER/ICU RVT
  • $25.00 – $32.00 per hour
• Senior-Level ER/ICU RVT / VTS
  • $33.00 - $45.00 per hour
• Surgery and Internal Medicine RVTs
  • $27.00 - $34.00 per hour
• Surgery Techs eligible for on-call bonuses
• Shift differentials for swings, weekends and overnights
• All pay ranges are dependent upon experience, role level, and credentials
