Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and troubleshoot Contract Writing Systems (CWS), SPS/PD2, and related eBusiness platformsDeploy and configure CWS application packages across environments in a cloud-hosted Appian instance, including customization file imports and coordination with cloud platform administrators on release timingBuild and modify Appian interfaces, process models, records, and expression rules to support CWS integration, following platform design standardsCoordinate with the database administrator to keep Appian data connections and schema requirements aligned with the cloud RDS environmentManage version control and release packaging through GitLab, tagging and tracking Appian application versions across environmentsSupport vulnerability triage and remediation tracking for Appian-related security findingsCoordinate application-level updates alongside broader platform patches and version upgradesMonitor Appian performance through logs and health dashboards, tuning process execution and resolving application-level slowdownsManage user accounts, system patches, and IA vulnerability remediation more broadlyBuild reports and dashboards using Cognos, SQL, and Power BISupport data integration with FPDS, SAM.gov, and other acquisition systemsEnsure system changes comply with FAR/DFARS requirementsLead testing (UAT), documentation, and end-user trainingQualificationsBachelor's degree, 7 to 9 years of relevant experienceCompTIA Security+ certificationDoD contracting or acquisition systems background, including experience with legacy Standard Procurement System (PD2) environmentsHands-on Appian administration or development experience, including release management, GitLab-based version control, and performance tuning (AoK certification a plus)Proficiency in SQL, Oracle, PowerShell, Power BI, and VB.NetFamiliarity with FAR/DFARS/SOFARS complianceAbility to travel as needed
