Summary :

\n

We're seeking an experienced Kubernetes Platform Engineer to design, build, secure, and operate enterprise-scale cloud and container platforms. This role will lead the architecture and implementation of Kubernetes environments across Azure and Google Cloud while incorporating DevSecOps principles throughout the platform lifecycle.

\n

The ideal candidate combines deep Kubernetes and cloud expertise with a strong security mindset, leveraging automation, Infrastructure as Code, and modern security practices to deliver scalable, resilient, and secure platforms

\n

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Design, implement, and support enterprise-scale Kubernetes platforms across Azure and Google Cloud.
\n
• Architect highly available, scalable, and resilient containerized infrastructure solutions.
\n
• Develop and maintain custom Kubernetes operators, controllers, and platform automation.
\n
• Create and optimize CI/CD and GitOps workflows for application and infrastructure deployments.
\n
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and related technologies.
\n
• Implement platform security controls and DevSecOps best practices across Kubernetes and cloud environments.
\n
• Integrate security scanning, compliance validation, and automated policy enforcement into deployment pipelines.
\n
• Design and implement centralized identity, access management, and secrets management solutions.
\n
• Develop automation for cluster provisioning, lifecycle management, patching, and upgrades.
\n
• Implement observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions across the platform ecosystem.
\n
• Design and support multi-cluster and multi-cloud deployment strategies.
\n
• Troubleshoot complex Kubernetes, cloud, networking, and platform issues.
\n
• Partner with application development teams to improve reliability, performance, security, and deployment automation.
\n
• Create and maintain architecture, operational, and security documentation.
\n
• Lead disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity initiatives for platform services.
\n
• Mentor team members on Kubernetes, cloud architecture, automation, and security best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

\n

\n
• 5+ years of Kubernetes, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or DevOps experience.
\n
• Deep hands-on expertise with Kubernetes administration, architecture, and troubleshooting.
\n
• Strong experience with Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform.
\n
• Experience designing and operating large-scale Kubernetes environments.
\n
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
\n
• Experience implementing GitOps methodologies using ArgoCD, Flux, or similar platforms.
\n
• Understanding of DevSecOps principles and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
\n
• Experience with container security, image scanning, vulnerability management, and policy-as-code frameworks.
\n
• Knowledge of Kubernetes security, RBAC, network policies, secrets management, and workload protection.
\n
• Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio, Linkerd, or similar.
\n
• Strong scripting or development skills in Go, Python, Bash, or similar languages.
\n
• Experience with enterprise authentication and identity platforms.
\n
• Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD, or CKS) preferred.
\n
• Security certifications or demonstrated DevSecOps experience are a plus.
\n
