Forklift Operator Pay: $21.45 - $24.13/hour Higher pay may be considered for exceptional candidates with significant experience up to $26.81 Join Seaport Steel as a Forklift Operator! You'll safely move, load, and unload steel products throughout our facility while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

What You'll Do:

• Operate forklifts to move and load steel products
• Secure loads using chains, straps, and other materials
• Perform daily equipment inspections
• Follow all safety procedures
• Work closely with your team to keep operations running smoothly

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous forklift, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic math skills
• Strong attention to safety, teamwork, and reliability
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Frequently lift up to 50 lbs.; occasionally up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, reach, and perform physical work throughout the shift
• Work around moving machinery and industrial equipment
• Exposure to varying temperatures and a moderate-to-loud work environment
• Must be able to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse/production setting
