Maintain records of loads and items being removed from department for processing, transports loads to and from SSD and prepare proper storage for equipment. Performs routine testing including biological test for steam autoclaves, Sterrad and System 1E. Assist Operating Room (OR) staff with needed supplies and equipment at the UAMS Health Benton/Bryant location.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:High School Diploma/GED.Preferred Qualifications:Certified Instrument Tech.Work experience as an Instrument Tech.Experience fulfilling orders/requests (packing, assembling & stocking items).Additional Information:Responsibilities:Decontaminate (dis-assemble, clean by hand and/or machine) medical instruments/materials.Assemble and package, inspect and test instruments, re-assemble sets, place sets in proper containers and/or wrapping and load/transport loaded carts with prepared sets.Maintain record of loads and items being removed from department for processing.
