Pediatric Hospitalist opening in Sioux City, IA - Visa EligibleLocated in Sioux City, IA – Omaha, NE 100m; Sioux Falls, SD 85m; Des Moines 200mFull-time; EmployedSeeking BC/BEH1B Cap-Exempt and J1 Visa Assistance Available Overview: Established pediatric hospitalist practice Average daily census of 10 patients with a combination of newborn nursery and inpatient responsibilities Round on unassigned newborns in the Level I nursery Manage pediatric admissions and provide ED consultations as requested Perform circumcisions No delivery attendance required High-risk deliveries attended by in-house NICU team Pediatric subspecialty support including Pediatric Cardiology, Pediatric Radiology, and Neonatology Additional consultation support from General Surgery, Orthopedics, and numerous other specialties Average 10 shifts per month with balanced weekend and holiday coverage Overnight call with in-house Family Medicine resident providing first-call coverage Visiting subspecialists from tertiary hospitals located approximately 90 miles north and south Fully integrated Epic EMR across clinics and hospital--- Comp/Benefits: Competitive compensation package with incentive opportunities, signing bonus, and relocation assistance Health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and short- and long-term disability coverage 401(k) with employer match, CME allowance, tuition reimbursement, and adoption assistance Daily Pay access, pet insurance, and dedicated provider resources supporting work-life balance Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligible Eligible candidates may qualify for HRSA Pediatric Specialty Loan Repayment assistance--- Group/Facility Info: Regional healthcare system serving Sioux City and the Siouxland area Level III NICU and premier birth center State-of-the-art surgical center Level III emergency department 24/7 cardiovascular services Home to a health system-based college of nursing and healthcare education programs Strong subspecialty support and collaborative environment* Physician-led, nonprofit organization-- About the Area:Sioux City is one of Iowa's largest and fastest-growing communities and serves as a regional hub for healthcare, education, retail, and food production.
