Maintenance Technician

Maintenance TechnicianWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support equipment reliability and production uptime in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical and electrical systems to ensure safe and efficient operations.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance and repairs on hydraulic systems and industrial equipmentTroubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issuesMaintain and repair diesel-powered forklifts and material handling equipmentConduct routine inspections and preventative maintenanceRespond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtimeEnsure all work is completed in compliance with safety standardsDocument maintenance activities and report ongoing issuesQualifications2+ years of maintenance technician experience in a manufacturing or industrial settingStrong knowledge of hydraulics and electrical troubleshootingExperience working on diesel-powered forklifts requiredAbility to work extended hours, including overtime and weekendsStrong problem-solving and mechanical skillsBilingual (English/Spanish) preferredEQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER: Surge is an equal opportunity employer.
