TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Endoscopy RN in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, 70816!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in specialty License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Must be able to function independently in all areas of Endoscopy. Expertise in advanced procedures such as EUS, ERCP, and pulmonary procedures such as bronchoscopy and EBUS is preferred. Experience with bariatric procedures and ION Robot is a plus. On-call response time is 30 minutes. Description: Travelers should be aware that upon accepting an assignment and starting the role, the unit manager may assign them to an "Emergency Team." There will be an expectation to stay at the facility until after an event passes or to be part of the relief team. Specific details pertaining to pay will be communicated during each emergency event, as impacts vary. Travelers should not apply for this role if they are not comfortable with the emergency assignment expectations. Must be fully competent in all endoscopic procedures, including advanced procedures such as ERCP and EUS. Must demonstrate a commitment to patient care and act as a full-time employee would. Experience in administering conscious sedation and managing airway procedures is required. Candidates must be willing to do on-call shifts for after hours, weekends, and holidays. Candidate must have current NURSYS reports updated within four weeks of submission. References will be required to obtain clearance to start. Charge RNs are not acceptable for this position. All candidates must have the necessary documentation readily available for verification.
