Picture a weekday morning in Winchester, VA. On most days, your crew rallies between 6:00–7:00 AM. You roll out in a fully equipped service truck, line out the plan, and take point on complex industrial service work. Safety sets the tone, quality drives your decisions, and customer updates bookend the day—often wrapping up between 4:00–6:00 PM.

The Role

As our Industrial Field Operations Foreman, you’ll direct field projects at customer sites while working hands-on across fabrication, welding, rigging, millwright tasks, equipment installs, troubleshooting, repairs, and plant maintenance.

What You’ll Lead and Do

• Supervise and coach a field service crew on industrial job sites.
• Coordinate daily assignments and keep work moving safely and efficiently.
• Operate and manage a fully outfitted service truck.
• Perform and oversee fabrication, welding, and rigging activities.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment and machinery.
• Execute millwright work, including equipment alignment, assembly, and installation.
• Support plant maintenance projects, planned shutdowns, and emergency breakdown repairs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Communicate directly with customers—set expectations, provide updates, and ensure quality.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Train, mentor, and motivate crew members to maintain a productive work environment.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of industrial field service or maintenance experience preferred.
• Proven experience leading a crew or serving as a Foreman.
• Hands-on expertise running a service truck and managing field operations.
• Strong background in fabrication, welding, rigging, millwright work, equipment installation, and plant maintenance.
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment.
• Comfort working in physically demanding environments, including at heights and in confined spaces when required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Schedule & Pace

The industrial services crew follows a variable schedule driven by customer needs. Most work happens Monday through Friday with typical start times between 6:00–7:00 AM and end times between 4:00–6:00 PM. Expect occasional evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays during plant shutdowns, emergency calls, or periods of increased workload.
