Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed in Savannah, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to site needs. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon11:00 AM - 07:00 PMTue11:00 AM - 07:00 PMWed11:00 AM - 07:00 PMSun11:00 AM - 07:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, property concerns, hazards, and maintenance issues according to site-specific procedures. Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs while maintaining professional communication with onsite staff and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
