Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 4-10 hour days, Monday through Friday, 06:30 - 17:00. On-call requirements: 1-2 shifts a week from 17:00 - 23:00.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. The ideal candidate will be responsible for circulating surgical cases and managing all nursing care within the operating room. This role involves observing the surgical team from a broad perspective and assisting the team in creating and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for the patient's surgery.

Responsibilities

• Circulate surgical cases and manage nursing care within the operating room.
• Assist the surgical team in maintaining patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and manage care throughout the surgical process.
• Collaborate effectively with surgical and anesthetic teams.
• Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient care planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess a current RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level 1 or 2 trauma center.
• Experience with da Vinci Robot and neuro-spine, cranial, pediatric OR, and ortho trauma preferred.
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR is necessary.
