Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Hold a valid Special Education Teacher certification or license (state-specific requirements apply)
• Demonstrated experience working with students with diverse learning needs, preferably in a middle or high school setting
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, colleagues, and families
• Flexibility, creativity, and a passion for empowering students

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and evaluate Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students in your caseload
• Provide direct instruction based on students' unique learning needs in both individual and small-group settings
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to support student progress
• Maintain accurate records of student performance, progress, and documentation required by state and federal regulations
• Facilitate a supportive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and confidence
