Community Manager

Company Description Dabco Property Management is a family owned company that has managed apartment communities in Pullman and Richland, WA since the 1970s. Dabco prioritizes respectful, responsive relationships with residents, supported by on-site staff and resident managers at each complex. Role Description The Community Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Richland WA, responsible for the overall operation, appearance, and resident experience of The Brelsford Vineyards apartment complex. This role oversees day-to-day property management activities, including leasing, move‑ins and move‑outs, tenant communications, and coordination of maintenance and housekeeping services. The Community Manager monitors occupancy and rental performance, ensures compliance with company policies and applicable housing regulations, and supports accurate documentation and reporting. Daily responsibilities also include handling resident inquiries and concerns, conducting property inspections, collaborating with vendors and contractors, and helping maintain a welcoming, well‑kept environment. The role requires regular interaction with residents, prospective tenants, and internal team members to foster a positive, respectful community culture. Qualifications Property operations skills, including residential leasing, tenant relations, and coordination of maintenance and housekeeping services. Administrative and organizational skills, such as record‑keeping, scheduling, and managing documentation related to applications, deposits, and lease agreements. Customer service and communication skills to respond promptly and professionally to resident inquiries, concerns, and service requests. Problem‑solving and conflict resolution skills to address community issues, enforce policies, and support a safe, respectful living environment. Basic financial and business skills, including understanding of rent collection, budgeting, and cost‑conscious vendor management. Ability to work on‑site, be available for occasional after‑hours needs, and collaborate effectively with maintenance staff, resident managers, and leadership. Knowledge of fair housing practices and local housing regulations, or willingness to learn and adhere to these standards. Previous experience in property management, hospitality, or a related customer‑facing field preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required, post‑secondary education in business or property management is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
