Overview LaurelAg&Waterislookingforaself-motivated,exceptionalBranchOperationsManager.AsakeymemberoftheRetailteam,theBranchOperationsManagerwilloverseetheday-to-dayoperationsoftheshipping/receiving,retail,inventory,assembly/fabrication,andfacilitiesinthewarehouse.Theywillensurethatallemployeesareworkingefficientlyandsafely,monitorinventorylevels,andmakesurethatproductsarehandledproperlythroughouttheshippingprocess.Laurelislookingforastronghands-onBranchOperationsManagerwithaproventrackrecordofbeinganessentialpartoftheprocessesinawarehouse.ThisrolewillreporttotheVPofRetail&TechnicalServices. Thispersonwillbepassionateaboutunderstandingourcustomer’sneedsandcreatingsolutionsthatmaximizeourperformanceatLaurel.TheBranchOperationsManagerisexpectedtobeateamplayerthatlivesLaurel’sculturalvalues,setsanexampleforothers,andenhancestheculture.Theyshouldalsohavecommunicationskillstoinspireothersasapeerandteambuilder. What You Will Do Oversightofwarehouse/branchoperations:DevelopplaybooksandKPIsfor Retail/InsideSales Warehouse(shipping,packing,receiving,inventorymanagement) Fabricationandassembly Constructioncoordination Logistics ExperienceoverseeingP&Lfinances Experienceinacustomerfacing/servicerole ID,implementandmaintain“FREE”controls Flexible Replicable Efficient Expandable Developprocessconsistency WorkwithNetsuiteTeamtodeveloptoolsforwarehousemanagers Facilitatebestpracticetraining Responsibleforfacilitiesmanagement(clean,adminstock,security,safety) SiteFunctionaloversight: Warehouse Fabrication Facilities Retail Assetmaintenance CAPEX InsideSales MaintainingICE:Customerfirstmentalityenvironment Maintainaccuratecostsandpricing Provideconsistentfeedbackonsupplychain,material,etcdifficultiesanderrorswithotherdepartmentleaders Maintainappropriatestockinglevels Overseeandmaintainaccurateinventorycontrols(AQ,QOH,cyclecounts,EOYaudit) MaintainFREEassembly,fabricationschedule Ensuresuccessfulinventorysharingacrosslocations MaintainICEforinternalstakeholders(construction) Equipmentmaintenanceandstocking Cleanandorganizedpackingandjobstaging What You Will Need Provenabilitytoworkinteamenvironmentinsideandoutsideofdepartment Three(3)years’experiencewithagricultureirrigation,and/orwarehouseorprojectmanagementorequivalentcombinationofexperience/education Provenabilitytosetbuildtrustthroughouttheorganization Highenergy,hungrytowin,approachable,analytical Excellentverbalandwrittencommunicationskills Spanishspeakingdesired Abilitytotravel10-30%dependingonlocation Excellentcomputerskills,includingOfficeSuiteandERPsavvy.
