How Will You Make an Impact? As a Planner I at our Monument, CO facility , you will serve as a key interface between the customer and production operations. You will develop and execute operational plans that align demand, materials, and capacity to meet customer expectations. Your role is critical in driving customer satisfaction, minimizing risk, and continuously improving planning performance metrics. Location: On-site at our Monument, CO facility. What Will You Do?- Work with Business Units and customers to develop a collaborative demand plan through execution of the Demand Management Process .
- Create a Master Schedule using resource analysis, including material and capacity sizing.
- Load and maintain the Master Schedule within the Jabil ERP system .
- Develop and maintain a feasible production plan and partner closely with Operations to ensure successful execution.
- Develop revenue forecasts and monitor actual performance; drive corrective actions and recovery plans when targets are at risk.
- Monitor planning metrics and drive continuous improvement .
- Serve as a customer interface for demand planning and shipment coordination.
- Ensure compliance with company security policies and operational procedures.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Typically reports to Management . Direct supervisor job title(s) typically include: Planning Supervisor, Planning Manager.
- Job is NOT directly responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring/termination and/or pay decisions, performance management).
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 1-2 years of materials-related experience preferred.
- Or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
- Thorough knowledge of ERP/MRP systems .
- Advanced PC skills, including knowledge of Jabil software packages .
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to speak effectively with customers and employees.
- Ability to apply common-sense reasoning to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to handle problems involving multiple variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to calculate figures, percentages, ratios, and apply concepts of algebra and geometry.
- Strong understanding of logistics requirements aligned with business goals and the ability to support execution strategies.
- Proficient verbal and written English skills.
