This hospital is seeking a cardiac electrophysiologist for locum tenens inpatient coverage in Tampa, Florida. The facility maintains the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support specialized cardiac electrophysiology services in an inpatient setting. Coverage is provided on-site with both day shift and night call responsibilities.

Tampa offers a range of attractions suited to varied interests, including the Florida Aquarium, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, and the Tampa Museum of Art. The Tampa Riverwalk and Ybor City serve as notable points for dining, entertainment, and waterfront activities. Outdoor and cultural experiences extend to Honeymoon Island, parasailing excursions near Bradenton Beach and Anna Maria Island, history cruises, and city trolley tours.

The clinician will provide inpatient cardiac electrophysiology coverage on a day shift schedule, including weekends, with night call responsibilities as part of a 1-week-per-month assignment. Clinical duties include rounding, consultations, and electrophysiology procedures, with a patient volume of 15-20 patients per day. Night call coverage is required throughout the assigned week. Board certification in cardiac electrophysiology is required for this on-site locum tenens position.
