Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,011 to $2,193 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour night shifts (12x3 schedule) Start date: 10/11/2026 Setting: hospital-based Med Surg with float pool responsibilities Responsibilities Provide direct patient care for medical-surgical patients within a hospital setting, including monitoring, assessments, and interventions per care plans. Document care in the electronic medical record (Epic) and communicate changes in patient status with the care team. Float between medical floor and surgical/oncology units as assigned, maintaining patient safety and quality standards. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with policy, safety guidelines, and physician orders; manage routine wound care and routine procedures as delegated. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, participate in rounds, and communicate with patients, families, and physicians to coordinate care and discharge planning. Adhere to unit protocols, safety, infection control practices, and BLS requirements; uphold professional standards and report concerns promptly. Requirements 2 years of Med Surg nursing experience; prior travel experience preferred BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required Epic EMR experience or strong familiarity with Epic workflows Ability to float between medical and surgical/oncology units as part of the float pool Willingness to work a 12-hour night shift schedule and to comply with the assignment’s terms, including travel and relocation requirements and the 200-mile radius rule Active RN license to practice, with eligibility or current status in the applicable state (Montana preferred) Benefits and Support Guaranteed hours as outlined in the contract 13-week travel assignment with a defined start date 12-hour night shift schedule designed for staffing coverage Float pool assignment across medical and surgical/oncology units EMR: Epic - clinical workflow familiarity supported by onboarding Assignment-specific support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC throughout the engagement Credentialing and onboarding assistance to facilitate start Direct access to recruiting and clinical leadership for issue resolution Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
