Xfinity Field Sales Consultant

Job Summary Responsible for the promotion and sale of Comcast products and services to include video, high-speed Internet, voice and XFINITY Home. Utilizes advanced knowledge of Comcast's products and sales process experience to maximize sales and effectively work assigned turf. Core Responsibilities Demonstrate an advanced knowledge of Comcast products, promoting and selling offerings to individual customers by knocking each door within assigned territory. Display thorough and recent competitive knowledge of features, benefits, product differences, pricing and campaigns for video, high-speed internet, voice and XFINITY Home. Effectively communicate and develop rapport with customers. Evaluate individual customers' existing and potential product needs and make recommendations. Increase customer understanding of Comcast products and pricing models as well as competitive advantages over other service providers. Evaluate competitive offers and frame responses to show the benefits of Comcast. Create and execute turf management plans without assistance, utilize experience-based sales techniques, and operate independently. Demonstrate confidence in selling ability. Display competent time management and organizational skills. Meet and exceed sales goals as established by local market. Independently establish and organize daily sales activities. Generate business through established and approved methods of lead generation. Implement effective sales closing techniques to ensure product installation goals are achieved. Demonstrate a consistent record of success in residential canvassing sales environments with emphasis on business-to-consumer sales. Display thorough and advanced understanding of video, high-speed internet, voice and XFINITY Home. Possess effective communication, organizational, people skills, and strong customer service skills. Illustrate strong technical capability (computer knowledge, billing system, databases). Meet the physical requirements of the job, including the ability to walk and/or travel door-to-door for considerable distances in all types of weather conditions. Obtain and maintain any credentials and/or licenses necessary to sell and/or design alarm systems as required by law. Consistently exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. Maintain regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Work nights and weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as necessary. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Education and Qualifications High School Diploma / GED. 2-5 Years relevant work experience.
