Job Summary:
The area is seeking a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a facility located in Machias, Maine. The position involves delivering high-quality, patient-family centered care in a Medical Surgical (MS) specialty unit. The RN will work days shifts and provide essential clinical support in a fast-paced environment, ensuring safety and adherence to organizational standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in Maine or able to obtain, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, 1 year of clinical experience in a Medical Surgical (MS) unit, ability to function independently, excellent assessment, communication, computer, and documentation skills, strong emergency response skills, ability to maintain confidentiality
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working in a medical-surgical floor, Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), familiarity with hospital protocols and procedures
• Additional Information: The RN must possess strong assessment skills and ability to act rapidly and efficiently in emergency situations. Confidentiality and organizational support are critical.
