Location: Dickson, TN 37055 Job Type: Permanent full time Shift: Nights; rotating weekends (every other weekend). Shift differential: Nights $3.50, Weekends $6.00 Position Details Labor and Delivery Clinical Nurse Coordinator — Dickson, TN What you will do in this role Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care. Participates in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services in the unit, in collaboration with the management team. Collaborates with subject matter experts and managers to foster teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service. Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary. Supports nursing strategies to improve engagement (e.g., employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives). Provides recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff; supports training, development, conflict resolution, policy compliance, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions as needed. Assists with staff scheduling and manages practical labor aspects to align with patient care needs and productivity guidelines. Supports inventory control and assists with managing supplies and equipment.
