Must have 3-5 years of experience if certified respiratory therapist (CRT).
Description:
The position involves managing respiratory therapy equipment and treatments.
The therapist will transport patients and perform arterial blood gas procedures.
Intubation is not required for this position; travelers will assist only.
There is a lead therapist on each shift who manages daily staffing and resources.
The team typically comprises 15-20 staff during the day and 10-12 at night.
Equipment includes various ventilators, BiPAPs, and high-flow systems.
Shifts are scheduled to accommodate needs, with a requirement for weekend work.
The respiratory therapist may float to different units as needed.
Scrub color is flexible as long as it remains clean and professional.
The facility requires adherence to a radius rule for candidates.
Additional shifts in specialized areas may be necessary for orientation.
A collaborative team environment with in-house support is maintained.
