Material Handler 2nd shift

Material HandlerThe Material Handler is accountable for safety, 5S, shipping, receiving freight, locating freight, put-aways, picking orders, shipping & receiving, cycle counting, assembly, process improvement and team productivity.Ensures all safety procedures are followed and actively works to improve our safety program.Ensures all quality procedures are followed and actively works to improve our quality program.Manage workflow and delivery of merchandise throughout the plant.Coordinate and execute the delivery of materials to machines from its inventory location.Reweigh and return any residual unused material. Make sure it is labeled with name of material and qty.Coordinate and execute the movement of work order in process to each machine, as needed.Stage finished goods neatly in designated finished goods locationTransacting materials consumed by production in ERPMaintain a clean & organized working environment (5s)Pick orders timely & correctlyCycle count materialsLearn & navigate our inventory control systemAbility to check-in, put away partsPrepare handling of goodsMaterial receiptsAbility to pick & pack orders sturdy & presentableSupport shipping/receivingOther duties as assigned$21.07 per hour 1st shift (+$1.00 shift differential for 2nd)HS Diploma or equivalentTow motor experience/pallet jackFlexible with hoursComputer processing experience (Microsoft office/Excel)Warehouse experience using barcode scanners.Must be able to work in the US.Detail orientedCommunicates effectively.Works well within a Team environment.Ability to frequently lift-up to 55 pounds.This position is very active and requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing; use of hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms.This position requires frequent communications with other employees and freight carriers.
