Full Charge Bookkeeper

Immediate opening for a Full Charge Bookkeeper with a consumer products company local to Baton Rouge! Apply now to start your career with this great company!

Pay Range: $50,000 - $60,000 DOE


Full-Time with excellent benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable
    • Monitor invoices for consistency and accuracy
    • Insure payment of supplier invoices in a timely manner
    • Process weekly check run
  • Accounts Receivable
    o Issue invoices to customers
    o Process daily credit card, checks, and cash receipts
    o Make daily bank deposits
    o Conduct collection calls on overdue invoices
  • Payroll
    o Organize and manage employee benefit elections
    o Process biweekly payroll through ADP Payroll Plus
  • Financial Statements & General Functions
    o Create monthly sales tax reports and remit timely payment
    o Conduct a monthly reconciliation of every bank account
    o Conduct periodic reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy
    o Issue financial statements
    o Conduct inventory & debt reconciliations monthly
Requirements:
  • 4-5 years of Full Charge Bookkeeping experience
  • QuickBooks & Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
