Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry

Location: Los Alamos, NM

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 (7P - 7A), guaranteed 36 hours per week

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Med/Surg Telemetry unit. The RN will provide care for surgical and telemetry patients, focusing on adult and geriatric populations. This role requires collaboration within a team environment and the ability to assist in other units as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care to adult and geriatric surgical patients.
• Manage telemetry monitoring and interpretation.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Current RN licensure in the state of NM.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS.
• Experience in stepdown units and the ability to read/interpret telemetry strips is preferred.
