About the Role As a Department Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the Sales and Profit goals in the store by executing a plan to deliver the Best Customer Experience in the department and overall store. Responsibilities Working at H&M means no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will include the following responsibilities: Customer Sales & Profit Support the total OMNI customer experience in your store, ensuring visual and commercial curation according to global guidelines. Represent yourself and the H&M brand positively during customer interactions. Be aware of and take responsibility of your department's strengths, identify commercial opportunities and work with your Department Manager to act on them. Ensure customer service is provided in all areas of the store and that your team is promoted actively and sells products. Follow up that your team is actively promoting our Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and in-store sustainability initiatives. Ensure correct routines in fitting room and checkout, including transaction, returns and exchanges. Ensure all admin routines for both people and operations are handled correctly. Fashion & Trend Awareness Keep up-to-date with fashion scene, trends, styles, brands, competitors and relevant influencers. Ensure your team provides product and fashion knowledge during customer interactions. Team & Development Retain and share your knowledge and skills with the store team. Collaborate, plan and work in a team with the Visual Merchandiser team. Give and receive feedback with colleagues to learn, develop and support each other. Communicate regularly with store colleagues to inform, motivate and inspire. Ensure procedures, routines and legal requirements in all areas of the store are followed. Retail Operations / Visual & Commercial Execution Secure a clean and tidy sales floor and back-of-house including stockroom areas. Ensure high fashion quality, visual and commercial product presentation with good garment care. Secure good stock levels and provide input on allocation to Area team. Ensure full garment cycle (delivery to presentation and fitting room routines) follows internal standards and utilizes technology provided. Maintain best practice for in-store OMNI services and tech services/tools. Maintain price signs in-store and throughout the sales floor according to global & local strategies. Update and upkeep BOH areas for all colleagues (key information, health & safety, tidiness). Be responsible for opening & closing of the store daily. Compensation Expected base salary range is 16.23‑19.18 hourly.
