Title Processor / Settlement Officer

Position Overview A growing title company has recently expanded its client portfolio and is seeking an experienced Title Processor / Settlement Officer to support a significant volume of residential and commercial title transactions. This individual will play a key role in managing files from contract through closing, working closely with attorneys, lenders, real estate professionals, and clients to ensure smooth and timely settlements. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing a high-volume pipeline, and has a strong understanding of both title processing and settlement operations. Key Responsibilities Manage title and settlement files from contract receipt through post-closing Review title commitments, identify issues, and coordinate resolution efforts Order and review payoffs, municipal certifications, tax information, surveys, and other closing requirements Prepare settlement statements, closing disclosures, and closing packages Coordinate with buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate agents, attorneys, and underwriters throughout the transaction lifecycle Schedule and conduct real estate settlements Ensure all files meet underwriting, regulatory, and compliance requirements Resolve title defects, lien issues, and closing discrepancies Handle post-closing responsibilities, including recording and final file audits Maintain accurate records and provide exceptional client service throughout the process Qualifications 3+ years of experience in title processing, settlement coordination, or real estate closings Experience handling files from opening through closing and post-closing Strong understanding of title commitments, title clearance, and settlement procedures Ability to manage a high-volume pipeline while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail Experience working with lenders, attorneys, agents, and underwriters Proficiency with title software platforms such as SoftPro, Qualia, Simplifile, or similar systems preferred What We're Looking For Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and proactively solve problems Detail-oriented professional who thrives in a deadline-driven environment Team player who can adapt to growing business demands Compensation Commission and incentive opportunities Long-term growth opportunity with an expanding organization An Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
