We are seeking a Java Spring Boot & GCP Developer to join our team. This role will involve strategically architecting, designing, and developing industry-specific solutions and microservices while leading API re-platforming and migration efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java Spring Boot, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), API design, and database integration , along with a passion for scalable architecture and cloud-native development .

Location: Atlanta, GA (100% On-site)

Duration: 6 Months Contract

Rate/Salary: Competitive / Commensurate with Experience

Job Description:

• Architect, design, and develop enterprise Java Spring Boot microservices and API solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Lead the re-platforming and migration strategy from legacy systems to modern Java-based API architectures.

• Design complex routing algorithms, API service integrations, and end-to-end connections with databases, search engines, and third-party services.

• Perform efficient CRUD operations across PostgreSQL, Google BigQuery, and GCP instances while optimizing for caching and performance.

• Manage code repositories, coordinate automated CI/CD build deployments via Jenkins and Version Control tools, and define quality gates.

• Drive design and development calls with offshore teams, offering technical direction to senior developers in an Agile environment.

Required Qualifications:

• 6 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience specializing in Java Spring Boot and GCP.

• Proven track record in API design, microservices architecture, and enterprise integration patterns.

• Experience with cloud databases and data platforms (PostgreSQL, Google BigQuery, GCP infrastructure).

• Proficiency with Agile tooling, including JIRA, Jenkins, Version Control, and Code Quality tools.

• Strong expertise in software design patterns, routing algorithms, data modeling, and web service protocols.
