Product ManagerNelson Global's GT Silex Division is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the development, expansion, and commercialization of our complete exhaust, emissions control, acoustics, and thermal management product portfolio for large stationary engine applications.This strategic leadership role requires industry experience in industrial exhaust systems, emissions control systems, aftertreatment technologies, power generation equipment, large engine applications, or closely related markets. The successful candidate will possess deep technical and commercial expertise in the design, development, integration, and deployment of complete exhaust and emissions systems for large industrial stationary engines.The Product Manager will be responsible for defining product strategy, managing system-level requirements, coordinating design and development activities, and establishing a world-class global supply base capable of supporting Nelson Global's growth objectives. The role will serve as the primary technical and commercial leader responsible for translating customer Statements of Requirements (SOR) and Statements of Work (SOW) into complete system solutions that meet performance, regulatory, acoustic, thermal, durability, and cost objectives.This position owns the development of integrated exhaust solutions that may include SCR, DOC, DPF, DEF dosing systems, controls, monitoring systems, silencers, acoustic treatments, thermal management systems, skid assemblies, structural supports, and associated exhaust components. Applications span multiple end markets including data centers, industrial power generation, combined heat and power (CHP), distributed energy, marine, mining, oil and gas, and critical infrastructure power systems.This is a highly visible and critical position within Nelson Global and will play a key role in establishing the company as the market leader in complete exhaust, aftertreatment, acoustics, NVH, and thermal management systems for the industrial large engine power generation sector.Primary Responsibilities & Duties:Develop and execute the product roadmap for complete exhaust and emissions control systems serving large stationary engine marketsExpand and strengthen Nelson Global's portfolio of aftertreatment, acoustics, thermal management, and exhaust system solutions for the industrial large engine power generation sectorIdentify market opportunities, customer needs, competitive trends, and technology developments to support strategic growth initiativesSupport commercial teams in positioning Nelson Global as a preferred systems supplier for complete exhaust solutionsSystem Development & Product Management:Lead the design and development of integrated exhaust systems from concept through commercializationTranslate customer Statements of Work (SOW), Statements of Requirements (SOR), technical specifications, and regulatory requirements into executable product development plansManage system-level requirements, performance targets, cost objectives, timelines, and technical deliverablesCoordinate engineering resources and supplier partners to ensure products meet customer expectations and regulatory requirementsComplete System Scope Ownership The Product Manager will oversee the development and integration of systems including:Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systemsDiesel Oxidation Catalysts (DOC)Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF)Urea/DEF dosing systemsDEF injectors, pumps, sensors, and fluid delivery componentsElectronic controllers and control panelsMonitoring and diagnostic systemsMixing tubes and static mixing elementsExhaust piping and ducting systemsStructural skid assemblies and support structuresSilencers and acoustic attenuation systemsNoise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) solutionsThermal management systemsInsulation systems, steel cladding, and thermal blanketsIntegrated exhaust and emissions packages for stationary power generation applicationsSupplier & Supply Base Development:Lead the identification, qualification, development, and management of a global supply base supporting complete exhaust system solutions for the industrial large engine power generation sectorEstablish strategic supplier partnerships for key technologies and componentsCoordinate supplier performance, capability assessments, quality expectations, and cost competitivenessSupport sourcing strategies that enable scalability, profitability, and global market growthProgram & Customer Leadership:Serve as the primary product leader for customer programs involving complete exhaust and aftertreatment systems for industrial large-engine applicationsInterface directly with customers to understand technical requirements, performance expectations, and project objectivesCoordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of development programsTrack and report system performance, validation results, project status, risks, and mitigation plansSupport proposal development, technical reviews, and customer presentationsMarket Development:Help establish Nelson Global as a market leader in (CHP)Distributed EnergyUtility and Backup PowerMarine ApplicationsOil & GasMiningInfrastructure and Critical Power MarketsRequired Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical disciplineMinimum of 12 years of direct industry experience in exhaust systems, emissions control systems, aftertreatment technologies, stationary power generation, large engine applications, heavy-duty diesel systems, industrial combustion systems, or related marketsDemonstrated experience developing and commercializing complex engineered systems for industrial or heavy-duty applicationsProven expertise with SCR, DOC, DPF, emissions control technologies, exhaust systems, acoustics, thermal management systems, or related product categoriesStrong understanding of large stationary engine applications from leading OEMs such as Caterpillar, Cummins, Rolls-Royce, INNIO Jenbacher, Generac, MAN, Wärtsilä, or similar manufacturersDemonstrated success leading cross-functional product development programs involving engineering, sourcing, suppliers, manufacturing, quality, and commercial teamsExperience developing, qualifying, and managing strategic suppliers and global supply chainsStrong customer-facing experience with the ability to interpret Statements of Requirements (SOR), Statements of Work (SOW), specifications, and performance guaranteesProven project leadership and program management skills with the ability to manage multiple development efforts simultaneouslyExcellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skillsPreferred Education & Experience:Advanced degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related fieldExperience in data center power generation, CHP systems, distributed energy, marine power, or industrial power generation marketsKnowledge of global emissions regulations, environmental compliance standards, and permitting
