Job Overview The Food Preparation Coordinator will coordinate all food services, including breakfast and lunch preparations, home meals, center snacks, and special events. This role oversees daily kitchen duties to ensure food is received, stored, prepared, served, and disposed of per applicable standards and regulations. Responsibilities also include maintaining records for compliance with the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), internal policies, and regulatory guidance. Minimum Requirements Food Protection Manager certification from an ANSI‑accredited provider meeting ASTM International E2659‑09, or completion within 90 days of hire. Bilingual in English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese, depending on the demographics of the PACE site. Minimum of 2 years of foodservice experience in preparation. Experience with the elderly in community or healthcare settings. Minimum of 1 year of experience leading or managing foodservice operations. Valid BLS certification or higher, per AHA or American Red Cross guidelines. Compensation $25.00 – $29.32 hourly. This range is subject to change based on budget, experience, skills, education, licensure, certifications, and other business considerations. The role may also qualify for discretionary bonuses or incentives.
