Emerald Trace is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented Night Shift Nurse Supervisor to join our nursing leadership team.

This position provides clinical oversight and leadership during overnight operations while supporting quality resident care, staff accountability, regulatory compliance, and a positive team culture.
Schedule

• Full-Time Night Shift
• 12-hour shifts
• Rotating weekends and holidays as needed

Position Summary

The Night Shift Nurse Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and supervising nursing operations during overnight hours. This role serves as the clinical and operational leader on shift, supporting nursing staff, responding to resident needs, assisting with clinical decision-making, and ensuring continuity of care throughout the campus.
Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff during overnight shifts
• Promote high-quality resident-centered care
• Respond to clinical concerns, emergencies, and staffing issues
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and change in condition assessments
• Support communication between departments and leadership
• Monitor documentation accuracy and nursing practices
• Serve as a resource and mentor for floor staff
• Help maintain a positive and professional work environment

Qualifications

• Current Kentucky RN or LPN license in good standing
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
• Prior supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions overnight
• Commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and resident dignity
