Immediate need for a talented Data Modeler. This is a 06+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Columbus, OH, Scottsdale, AZ, or Des Moines, IA (Hybrid). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $55/hr - $60/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to and evolve data-modeling principles, patterns, standards, and decision criteria for data initiatives.
• Define and communicate appropriate modeling approaches across relational, dimensional, hybrid, and analytical use cases.
• Conduct model reviews and resolve design questions in collaboration with architects, engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
• Translate current and future business requirements into conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Guide detailed design for source onboarding, data harmonization, and reporting-ready structures.
• Partner with delivery teams to make timely design decisions when requirements are ambiguous.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in data modeling and supporting data pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Python and data-modeling tools such as ERwin, ER/Studio, or PowerDesigner.
• Strong background in creating scalable, governed data models.
• Preferred experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Guidewire, and modern cloud data platforms.
• Knowledge of data governance, cataloging, lineage, privacy, masking, and data-quality frameworks.
